Marianne translates French, Spanish, and Catalan into English and French and offers English and French correction and enhancement services. Clients include corporations as well as The Barcelona Institute of International Studies, and professors at the University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University, Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Pablo de Olavide in Seville, narrative writers and poets. Her translations have been read at international conferences such as The European Conference of Political Science and at Yale, Princeton, Leeds, DePaul, Northwestern and Cornell among other educational institutions. Her most recent publication as English copyeditor is The Portable Cixous (Ed. Segarra, Marta. Columbia University Press, New York. 2010). In February 2011, she translated the introduction of Pein(e)tures, a compilation of Hélène Cixous’s writings on the arts to be published by Edinburgh University Press.
